How to Create a Safe Folder on Your Smartphone to Protect it From others

This app has added the Safe Folder feature within the Files app. You can keep your sensitive 
data, videos, presentations, etc. in this folder from being seen by others. You need to put a
four-digit PIN number in the safe folder.
This is an encrypted folder, which can keep your personal data safe. According to Google, as 
soon as you exit the Google Files application, the folder inside it is automatically locked 
securely. 
In that case, no one will be able to access any of your data available in it.So don't delete
or uninstall the file app and don't clear its app data so as not to lose your data forever. 
You may have to take this risk even if you forget your PIN number.
Microsoft's tool provides security even in the cloud. But XDA developers have stated that the
safe folder inside Google's files will only work on the device. Currently this feature is only
available to beta version users. Which currently has 150 million users worldwide. The company
says it will soon make it public for all users.
How to use?
This feature is available in beta version 1.0.323 of Google Files app. You can get it from the
beta program of Google Play Store. After installing this app you have to complete some steps.
• First open the Google Files app. Now tap on the menu bar at the bottom, from which you can 
access your synced folders. On this page you can see the section of the collection. Within 
this you will find the Safe Folder option. 
• Now click on Safe folder and set a four digit PIN number. After doing so, the Safe folder 
will be ready and you can transfer your important files and folders here.
Here's how to move a file to a safe folder
·  For this you need to open the Files app. Then you can access any folder with the 
help of browser section. 
·  Now select the files you want to keep in the safe folder.
- You have to hold down the selected file for some time. Then the selection mode option 
will appear.
·  After doing so, click on the three dotted button in the top right corner. After clicking
on it, you will get the option of Move to Safe folder.
This way you can keep your sensitive files in a PIN-protected folder.
